Pe-100 gas pipes
Polyethylene pipes for the supply of combustible gases Ø 20 - 800 mm, at a pressure of up to 1.0 MPa, are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of PN EN 1555-2 (the products are manufactured with the usage of modern Proton extruders of the Austrian Cincinnati Extrusion company).
Pipes for the construction and repair of gas networks
- Pipes can be used to build gas pipelines with a safety factor of at least 2.0.
- Pipes can also be used to transport compressed air and other gaseous
Technical characteristics of gas pipes
- Pipes are delivered in coils and in straight sections.The length of gas pipes in sections or coils is not standardized according to PN-EN 1555-2 and can be agreed with the customer (the most common variants of pipe length: in sections - 12 m; in bends, depending on the pipe diameter - 100, 150, 200 m ).
- Maximum working pressure MOP - up to 1.0 MPa.
- The pipe is black (with yellow or orange stripes) or yellow, orange
- Pipe connections are made by butt welding with a hot tool or with the use of electrofusion elements

Advantages of polyethylene pipes for the supply of combustible gases
- the service life is much longer than that of metal pipes (warranty period of 50 years);
- practically maintenance-free due to the lack of cathodic protection;
- non-hydrophobic and resistant to aggressive substances;
- polyethylene gas pipes are 2-4 times lighter than steel ones;
- polyethylene pipes for gas supply can withstand variable soil loads;
- have a simpler and more economical welding technology;
- polyethylene joint does not require the use of insulation and electrodes;
- plastic gas pipes can be laid by the pulling method;
- plastic gas supply pipes have high flexibility and low inner surface roughness.
