LABORATORY: QUALITY GUARANTEED!
The "Plastics Testing Laboratory" was established to provide services in the field of testing polymer compositions, plastic pipes and fittings, which are used for the assembly of internal and external engineering networks.
"Plastics Testing Laboratory" is accredited to confirm compliance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO / IEC 17025 (accreditation certificate of an independent laboratory No. 201459 of 05.07.2017).
The independent, accredited "Plastics Testing Laboratory" carries out a wide range of tests of pipeline products and polymer materials for construction purposes (from control and acceptance tests to certification tests). The laboratory`s test results are recognized both nationally and internationally.
The laboratory is fully equipped with precision equipment that meets European and world quality requirements, and is subject to annual verification and calibration.
There is a possibility of inspection and testing by the Laboratory based on the following indicators:
- linear dimensions
- the density of raw materials
- raw material flow rate
- the scatter of the melt flow index values within the batch
- mass fraction of volatile substances in raw materials
- determination of the degree of cross-linking of structured polyethylene
- thermal stability
- yield point at the tensile test
- relative elongation at break
- tensile modulus of elasticity
- change in length of pipes after heating
- stability at constant internal pressure
- resistance to slow crack propagation
- impact resistance
- ring stiffness
- value of the coefficient of friction
- electrical resistance of the pipes
- thermal insulation density
- water absorption of thermal insulation
- radial compressive strength of thermal insulation
- shear strength of the insulation
- radial creep of pipe insulation
- closed cell volume content
- effective thermal conductivity
- other indicators as defined by applicable regulatory standards
- Impact resistance test
- Test of the relative elongation at break (static tensile test)
- Test of resistance to internal pressure (up to DN 630 mm; 1000 hours)
- Determination of the melt flow rate of raw material
